Windows 7 seems to not be giving messages to our domain users that their password is about to expire. We haven't found a group policy or Registry fix for this yet. We have the user close Outlook, change their password through ctrl-alt-del, then reopen Outlook and that message does not reappear. Seems that they don't even need to log off either. Tomorrow Morning I will change password and see if that corrects the issue. Also, we are running Windows XP Professional.

I changed the password to the account and I am still receiving the pop-up. After looking at the pop-up, it is trying to connect to our exchange server: mail. I type the correct credentials and the pop-up still comes up. Also, I went into manage passwords and made a reference to the exchange server with credentials and still same issue. The funny thing is: if i exit out the pop-up and click need password, it will connect to the exchange server no problem. We can work around this issue that way; however, the client wants the pop-up to disappear.

Leave Outlook running for few minutes don't close it just so that Exchange server takes the effect , Exit Outlook and try opening Outlook again I keep coming up with the same exact issue with the correct password inputted each time.
